About Me

I am an educator and storyteller at heart. The written word has a profound impact.  Words bring insight, evoke emotion, and spur action.

My journey has had twists and turns, the common themes have been educating and assisting others. I have worked as a veterinary technician, dog trainer, groomer, medical office manager, naturalist, substitute teacher, and a teacher in a two-room schoolhouse.  Currently, I write from my home office with working Border Collies at my feet and sheep grazing in the pasture.

I have the education and experience to relate to industry experts as well as practical life experiences allowing real conversations with your customers.  Understanding your customer’s hopes, dreams, and struggles enable me to write content that inspires and motivates.

I enjoy reading, gardening, photography, and cooking when I am not outside training Border Collies or taking care of sheep.

Maybe it is my Midwest, educated, well-grounded, country girl personality, but I am not a fan of fluffy writing.  I enjoy digging deep finding that one piece of information or one quote that pulls everything together.

Everyone has a story to share – Let me help you share yours.

A couple of my favorite quotes

The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug. – Mark Twain

Love recognizes no barriers.  It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope. – Maya Angelou

I would enjoy telling your story, educating your clients about your services and products, or simply sharing your life experiences with others.
